mucus

this androphobia as art thing:

"Isolation, Suburbs, and Prevention of Community: Our society is not a community, but merely a collection of isolated family units. Desperately insecure, fearing his woman will leave him if she is exposed to other men or to anything remotely resembling life, the male seeks to isolate her from other men and from what little civilization there is, so he moves her out to the suburbs, a collection of self-absorbed couples and their kids. Isolation enables him to try to maintain his pretense of being an individual through becoming a 'rugged individualist', a loner, equating non-cooperation and solitariness with individuality."

does this sound like somewhere you know?

Hi saudi girl...

Humans' brains work exactly in the same way, at the bottom of it (this is scientifically proven). What makes them work differently is education, from the very beginning inside the womb...
Girls are generally nurtured in a way that allows their brain to deal with all its biogically-intended abilities, and that's why they sometimes can be confused/confusing; boys, in general, undergo an education that emphasizes too much logical reasoning.
Nevertheless, each and every human brain has the ability to be aware of its own programmation flaws, and ... fix them.

That's what I've done since I realized; today, according to the semantic context you're discussing in, I'm as much a woman than a man, on the inside, even if I'm looking as a man, on the outside...

But this is not the end of the path, far from it! There is no destination, only the path...

Keep truckin' on, saudi girl, and always keep 'Science and Sanity' at an arm's length...

I live in the States in downtown Chicago. Lots of women want to move to the suburbs so their children can have grass under their feet...and I've seen lots of guys leave the city for their wives and not the other way around. I think most husbands really just want their wives to be happy.

From the experience of growing up in the 'burbs, I can say it doesn't necessarily isolate you more than living in a sky scraper (which I do now). Just depends on how social you and your neighbors are.
